Remember kids, when it comes to press, there is no such thing as bad press. As most celebrities learn early on, as long as they are talking about you, it matters little what they are actually saying. Take the recent speeding incident by Kim Kardashian. Any regular, not famous person would look at being cited as a big problem. A potential pain in their lives. But Kim probably does not see it like that. She sees it as: Oh good, people will be talking about me some more. The reality is, there’s more to the story than that.

The truth is, seems like the paparazzi were following her, which may have been why she was speeding in the first place. USA TODAY reports that when she was pulled over there were three paparazzi who were following her andtwo left the scene before they were questioned. The third, who remained, was ticketed as well. Okay, we don’t mean to take it there, but we need to point out that it was Princess Diana who died under very similar circumstances, with paparazzi following and chasing her for a shot, which led to her death. I know that is apples and oranges, but you cannot help but note the similarities in how this story could have played out.

I think Kim Kardashian is really lucky this ended with a ticket and not a tragedy.
